Appointed to the Minnesota Court of Appeals in 2004, elected in 2006, and appointed to the Supreme Court in 2008, Justice Dietzen is seeking election to a six-year term in 2010. In his two years on the Supreme Court, and in his four years on the Court of Appeals, he has heard hundreds of cases and has written over 150 opinions in all areas of the law. He is widely recognized as a fair, hard-working judge, supported by lawyers from all practice areas.
